I provided you with evidence that whether or not c-sections are performed is being influenced by convenience of the doctor. Would you want to undergo major surgery because it was more convenient for your doctor than not undergoing the surgery? Anyone in the world will tell you vaginal births are preferred over c-sections if the c-sections can be avoided.
This thread also includes evidence that women--without initial risk factors--who are attended by midwives undergo fewer c-sections than women who are attended by doctors. So, for the particular issue of c-section rate--which is the only one I'm addressing here--those women do better with midwife care.
