Yes, so the point is that:
the percentage of women--without initial risk factors--who end up having a c-section is smaller for women who start off under the care of a midwife than it is for those who start off under the care of a doctor. And it is good to avoid c-sections if you can. So midwives are doing a good job in that sense.
