My wife had 4 and is also an L&D RN. We purposely went to hospitals she did not work at when she delivered and did not tell the L&D nurses that she was an L&D RN herself because we had faith that these extremely experience and professional women knew what they were doing and didn’t want to have them feel they were being second guessed by a know it all patient despite the fact my wife really was a patient that knew it all.

These people are pros, they’ve been involved hundreds of births. No woman that’s had 4 kids knows more than they know.
