So the question becomes is the risk worth it.

On low risk pregnancies maybe the outcome is better outside of hospitals. But if there are complications they are much better off in a hospital. If it’s me, I’d rather be prepared in case of disaster than slightly up my odds if there are no complications.

we had a scare on one of ours. not sure a birthing center would have given us similar positive outcome. Too risky IMO
