Yeah, that isn't too surprising. That's sort of the appeal of birthing centers, right? They're just more comfortable and
homey than a cold and sterile hospital room.
At least with our last baby (and maybe the others, too), they at least had a birthing tub in the laboring room. My wife's deliveries are always just so fast, we've never needed (or had time) to use them.
