The stats are what they are. You may not like them, but they are not false.
There are surely a lot of factors that result in the higher c-section rate. Lack of patience by OBs is surely one of the factors. Just because they're not in the room the whole time a woman is laboring doesn't mean they're not waiting, monitoring status, and deciding when to offer a c-section.
