Seems to be some obvious selection bias here. Basically you are gonna pick out
the people who are least likely to have complications and then state that those that give birth with midwifes are less likely to have complications? The whole point is that it doesn't matter were you have a normal uneventful birth. And if you could be guaranteed that there weren't going to be any problems, then sure, use whoever you want. But the fact is if you don't use a doctor, you are taking an unnecessary risk. Maybe not a huge one, but a risk.
