The AAUP censure is a long and complex process. You are actually mixing up two very different ideas here. Individuals can be removed at almost any institution for a variety of causes, even when they have tenure or cfs or whatever you call it. It is the process by which individuals are removed that matters to distinguish between tenured and non-tenured faculty. In the case of BYU and the U or any other institution, the process for removal is almost the same.
