Please, once again, define academic freedom. And, once again, do not rest on some generic ideal about doing or saying whatever and whenever you want. That is not what academic freedom is.
And you are just not correct if you think individuals are not removed from other schools for a variety of reasons, some of which actually involve disagreeing with other groups. Of course, if you think there is not academic freedom at BYU, I cannot do or say anything to convince you. However, as a faculty member who has taught at BYU and at other institutions, I can tell you it is a non-issue.
