Our seats were in the north end zone, Harline’s end zone. There were six of us in BYU blue. As soon as Harline scored, the Yewt fans from behind started throwing trash on us. My nephew was with us…he was about 10-11 years old…he was pretty scared. We also took an adult friend to his first college football game. He wore a blue (non-BYU) hoodie because that’s what we were wearing. He’s not a sports fan and didn’t really care about the outcome. During the game he went to use the restroom, but a number of red fans blocked him and wouldn’t let him enter the bathroom.
