I moved to SL County as a fan of neither school. Didn't care either way.
But my future wife grew up a BYU fan in California and wore BYU gear. The consistently rude, disgusting, ornery comments she received from complete strangers on the street or at the store merely because she wore BYU clothing cemented it for me. Utah fans as a whole are the most vile pieces of garbage on earth.
Are there decent Utah fans? Sure. But they do nothing to stop their disgusting element from being the face of who they are. If you talk to them about incidents they snicker and think it's funny that a member of their group acted that way towards BYU.
