I think anyone saying that Kirby is planning on messing up is out of line
Pretty messed up to make an allegation against a kid like that.
However, I do agree with the OP that this reeks of negative recruiting. I've heard these exact same lines from Ute co-workers before. Sounds like someone got him scared in believing that if you step one toe out of line at BYU you'll be expelled and your career will be over. Truth is, that's not how it works at BYU (unless some Utah fan comes out with indisputable evidence and releases it to the public immediately prior to a big game, forcing BYU's hand).
