The truth is that you don't know the full truth any more than myself. FYI, he was speaking about BYU punishing him in relation to HC stuff. That has nothing to do with other schools.
Stop saying he's naive because you have no clue what his real thoughts, understanding, and intentions are. It's just funny that you guys think he's asking for a free pass through everything in life and doesn't ever want accountability or responsibility. Talk about taking quotes to the extreme (or making up your own).
He could just as easily be making a lame excuse, an attempt at diverting for why he didn't choose an average football program over a rising one.
Again, he had no problem with this stuff before Utah offered. Surprised you can't see the connection there. I'm only saying hold off on the preachy crap and calling him all sorts of things before you actually know. I'm not saying his comments made sense. I don't think that makes him naive though. Don't treat him like he's an idiot. But so far his talk has been all about Utah football on the field and possibly making excuses to NOT talk about BYU football on the field.
