There are plenty of rebuttals on here. The main rebuttal btw is that if you didn't hear it, don't try to claim he said it. How are you all of the sudden an expert on what he can handle, how he goes about his life and what choices he wants to make. You look ridiculous sitting on your throne looking down at him.
BTW, he had no problem with it all before the Utah offer. Kinda says it's more about football than all of the crap people are suggesting. It's very likely a part of it, which is fine because that's true for most people who don't go, but Utah football trumps his own HC issues.
He also never said he doesn't want to be punished for any wrong doing. He doesn't want to be punished in football for things unrelated to NCAA or legal rules. Basically wishing church stuff should be handled accordingly and keep football punishments about football. Some of you guys are acting like he doesn't want to be accountable in life and all he wants to do is have guilt free sex and booze. Get off your thrones
