Ah, the eternal struggle
People say that recruits shouldn't be so full of themselves and expect BYU or any school to fall all over themselves to get them to play. Then they complain that BYU is falling behind because they're being out recruited by Utah and other schools.
IMO, I don't like getting high on any recruit before they play D1 ball. Too many burn out at the next level. But, that means I also have to hold my tongue when guys like Covey go to Utah. Utah rolled the dice on Covey. If he wouldn't have panned out no one on this board except one or two posters would say anything about it (with their random "Nice choice Covey" posts). Because he did pan out, BYU is the WORST at recruiting. Truth is, BYU loses lots of recruits to other schools and we don't ever hear about them again.
