I was never taught that in the preexistence, satan wanted us to indulge in sin, and break the honor code and suffer no consequences for it. That's all I'm trying to say. You seem to be describing "satan's plan" during mortality, to tempt people into sinning and believing they don't have to suffer consequences. Either way, when all is said and done, I only cared about this because you are calling this young man's character into question because he doesn't want to live by the rules of Brigham Young University. If I've learned anything from this discussion, it's that I need to stop following recruiting, because this same stuff will come up every time.
