I think we agree more than we disagree
How about we understand the underlying data before telling BYU what it needs to do.
We absolutely need to understand the numbers. Absolutely. I want answers.
But your assertion that BYU needs to do better at increasing the number of minority students simply for the sake of diversifying the student body is ludicrous.
I'm not saying increase the number of minorities simply for the sake of diversifying the student body.
I'm sorry if you can't see or recognize the necessity BYU being more interested in Native Americans and Pacific Islanders in the LDS community becoming more successful academically and getting a first-rate education at BYU.
And I will disagree with you on this. SOAR is not solving the problem, and it's not enough.
