Let me talk to you about facts. The only trend that actually indicates a
possible change is that of Pacific Islander people. The rest are movements within one standard deviation with no clear trend.

So it is a fact, as you illustrate, that Pacific Islander enrollment has dropped. That's the only fact you have presented.

So given our paucity of information, you've taken the bold step of deciding why that has happened and who is at fault. I don't think you've provided facts in support of your position.

It's a potentially problematic trend. But to place blame requires you to point out more than you have done. I am not looking for a doctoral thesis. I am looking for an evidence supported hypothesis.

I also need some numbers to support that Utah's Polynesian population has exploded in the last decade. It looks like the increase has been pretty modest over the last five years.

There's another question: where are those 200 going. That's a better question. Are they at different schools in Utah/home state? Are they at church schools? Are they just not college bound?

If you can help answer those questions, we have a starting point for a real discussion.
