And the justification for the admissions-by-race is the disadvantage associated with being a racial minority.
So maybe they do consider the disadvantaged situation of some white students. But there is very little incentive for them to do so. The incentive is the statistics and dialogue about diversity.
Do you see any benefit to admitting a bunch of disadvantaged white students? I don't. Other than a general sense that you maybe rectified some cosmic injustice.
