Also, I think there are a lot of fans who don't understand the term culture and are confused how it relates to on the field play. In some ways it can't be described. It's like a family out of control with no structure compared with a family with a set of ground rules that bond it. Bronco's slogans, his firesides, his t-shirts, his runs to Y Mountain, whatever, he was always looking for a way to remind his team that they were truly bonded. That's why players ran through walls for him. He was a stern parent in private, took no crud, demanding as any coach in America, but publicly always gave the credit to his kids, and always took the blame.
All the stuff that drove fans nuts were his keys to success.
