Sitake has been in some successful programs. By all definitions, Lavell ran a successful program that Sitake witnessed from a player's perspective. Then he was up on the hill with Urban for a while, and with KW after that.
So it isn't that he hasn't seen some things that work and some things that don't.
The issue is more about it seeming like he came in without a plan. Bronco had a plan. He read all of the business books and learned about the successful mindset and what needs to happen to built it. I'm not sure Sitake had a "plan" beyond being a coach.
But this is about building/defining a PROGRAM, not just a team, game, or season.
This offseason will be interesting, to be sure.
