Apparently, you have never been to UC Berkeley or Stanford.

Many BYU students have served missions where we absolutely build relationships of trust with other people and their belief systems.

Berkeley students protest basic Constitutional right like Free Speech if anyone says anything contrary to their close-minded belief systems.
