I described the handbook as saying that it “can be” permissible in the case of rape. I don’t think thats a crazy way to put it, and I wrote it that way on purpose.
The point stands: if it’s murder, why would it ever be okay in the case of rape? Why would that make it okay to murder a baby?
Killing someon in self defense is an entirely different situation. No innocents are being harmed, only an attacker. Only a threat. In the rape abortion, your own church says that it might be okay to murder an innocent baby because of… what exactly? Emotional harm?
