If you don’t question some things you either don’t understand them or arnt really concerned about reality.


Do you enjoy being around angry people looking to fight and cause problems?

Do you enjoy being around people who want to tell you that you’re beliefs are terrible?

I don’t? Most don’t. Evidently this type of person does.

Allowing people in to the school with clear intent to create this type of environment is irresponsible. And I would be upset if I had to deal with that at BYU since I chose to go there to avoid that turmoil.

People on both sides would behave poorly. Why create that atmosphere?

A mutual level of respect needs to exist on both ends. BYU has clear behavior expections if you cannot or, even more importantly, if you are unwilling to follow them respect those that want to and give them that opportunity. There are thousands of other good schools without such expectations... go there. There is one good LDS school... that’s it... one. Respect diversity. Respect different ways of thinking. You don’t have to agree with them anymore then they have to agree with you.
