Don't even get started on professors. Their hands are tied the entire time they're there.
And definitely don't get started on what happens when a student goes beyond mere "views" and actually tries to express those views vocally.
It's a joke to try to claim that BYU students or professors have any significant freedom of conscience. Everything is regulated and there are consequences for going outside the lines. That isn't true virtually anywhere else.
