True, I think the problem though is LP itself. Often in high school, a team has a superstar surrounded by 4 supporting role, average players. The role players go nowehere and the superstar goes D1. In the case of the LP3, it was a team that consisted of several above average players with great team chemistry, so the team was nationally regarded. However, bball is a team sport and in HS, 1 SS + 4 Avg players will lose to 5 above average players 99/100 times. Although they won games and were nationally recognized, BYU needs to recruit the superstars from weaker HS teams, not the above average players from powerhouse programs. Because in college, youre not just playing against 1 SS anymore, youre playing against teams of SS.
