Conversely, XC at BYU is dominated by Utahns and is a national powerhouse.
The point that BYU should opportunistically pick off talented but overshadowed athletes from CA, TX, and FL is a good one. However, the notion that UT high school athletics are weak and crippling BYU just doesn’t compute.
