How old were you? And how many cities had tackle football? My point stands that
Utah is growing faster than many places and the opportunity for competition is better than in the past.
St George started tackle football in 7th grade in the 80's and 90's. It now starts in 3rd grade and includes Cedar City and Hurricane. Basically every high school now has 1-2 little league teams starting in 3rd grade. And that did not exist when you played in the 80's. Your competition in Ute league sucked worse than the little league competition now.
