Of course there's more talent in California. Duh. Texas and Florida too.
The quality of football in Utah has skyrocketed in the last twenty years. The state is getting recruited by every P5 conference. One of the reasons Utah players aren't making a large impact on BYU is that they are going elsewhere including to the Utes.
