You are old. He's had a lot of teams that would've mopped the floor with California's best. I did the inverse of you. Played at Provo 3 years then at Mater Dei my Sr. 00's. I got way more Playing time at Mater Dei. At Mater Dei we had Darryl Strawberry Jr. and a couple D1 guys. We won everything in that state. Were nationally ranked. But we would've been trashed by those Mekeli Wesley/Jake Chrisman Provo high teams that were ranked a couple years previous to that . That Lone Peak national title team would've beat us. I think the upper-tier of both states has compared very well the last 20 years or so. There's some drop off still at the bottom but Utah's getting much better. Frank Jackson, C.J. Wilcox, Collinsworth, Davies, Hamilton....and I feel like I'm missing one......have all played in the NBA recently via Utah high schools. A lot of D1 recruits. There's some good talent here.
