Spot on. I think Provo's demographics are likely to continue
to produce some stars....Ty Jones in football.....that five star girl basketball player that is there currently.....etc. But less likely to produce actual good teams now.
One huge issue we had when I went there is a ton of kids were just not into academically but were super athlees. Ended up at Independence High School. And then when those guys don't want to/can't play....it makes everybody else....say....well, this team sucks.....lets go play at Timpview or wherever. I thought Provo should have been good at football while I was there based on who was in their boundary....but there were just so many flakey kids that caused many chain reactions that ultimately led to them being a bad football school.
