You have 5 offers and you call the process frustrating?
That sounds pretty good to me. To be totally honest, it doesn’t sound like they’re interested in your daughter. That’s not a bad thing, it’s better to go somewhere 1. where she’s wanted and 2. they’ve invested $ in her.
A couple of things though:

- As YSMACK said, good D1’s like to have their recruiting class locked up by the sophomore year of high school.

- “For sure a D1 athlete” does not mean “we are interested” and it doesn’t even mean “you could play here.” Being a D1 athlete is a pretty broad term. .

- She may be good enough for BYU, but there are a number of reasons why they don’t reach out. They could have their scholarships filled, they might have enough at your daughter’s position, they may not be recruiting your daughter’s position, your daughter may not be the type of player they’re looking for (not character, I mean player type), etc.

- Why don’t they message you back? It sucks being in your spot, but these coaches are getting tons of these emails every day. A friend of mine is an assistant coach at a mid major university. I asked him about recruiting and he said he gets close to 100 emails a day. I can’t imagine what BYU’s inbox is like. It sounds like your daughter is someone they would take seriously, but they’re probably getting emails from girls 9 and up, from starting varsity players to girls who sit the bench on their rec team. College coaches only have so much time, they can’t go through and respond to everyone.

- Be psyched that your daughter is going to college for free. She gets to play college soccer. That’s pretty remarkable, regardless of where she’s at. It sounds like she’s got some really good options.
