Of course Mark Pope passes on kids, but if he says to reach out, he'll
honor his word to respond, like other coaches should if they say they will. Recruiting can be a tough world, but here's a reality: if you don't attend BYU, it's not the end of the world. I know, BYU has the LDS connections and it may have been a dream for kids to play there, but the reality is that most won't get that chance, even if they are really good. If BYU doesn't show interest and others do, then consider yourself fortunate to have options. There are a lot of great opportunities out there if your "Plan A" or "dream plan" doesn't work out.
