For sure.. but your “value” can change really quickly once you set foot on
Campus..

I get your point though (I mistakingly gave up a scholarship to walk on) but at the same I definitely have seen the other side of it to where even on scholarship your value in the program can change quickly- either with coaching changes or just not an overall good fit. I had a brother give up a scholarship to transfer as a walk on just to get into a better system for him.

So I think u can argue it both ways. But I agree strictly athletically speaking your best shot is to go somewhere where they invest in you.
