Because Utah is a perfect demographic for soccer recruiting
For byu.. it’s a decent soccer hotbed with Wealthy lds girls that want to be at BYU and who can actually make it through BYU.. only threw in wealthy because that is who excels in the Pay to play soccer world we live in.
She’s still getting lds talent from ca and az as well.
No point in recruiting 19 year old non lds girls that aren’t going to fit in and who will quit after a year especially since those girls are trying to go to usc or UCLA
