Yes... Bad Advice to try and walk on.
First, I don't think all sports at BYU allow walk-ons.
Second, For every 'Dax Milne' there are 20 PWO that will wash out.
As you watch Milne on the field this weekend, remember that he's had to pay for his own food, housing, books, tuition, and every other 'cost of attendance' for two years while the other guys on the bench have been cashing checks. He's been paying BYU to play football for them.
Most fans are like "wow.. love the dedication! He's a walk-on!!".
Ask the people that wrote Dax's checks every semester how they feel.
