She doesn't admit it. Then BYU is not put on the spot. It's a catch 22
If she doesn't go, and most soccer is played on Sunday's (esp championships) then she doesn't see the girls in person in various situations. So she may get some recruits that won't fit into her program. But as a face of BYU she has to also uphold a certain standard. To me this is sort of an ox in the mire situation. The better BYU sports team do the more "influence" it has on the sport as a whole. So I wouldn't knock her, but if I were in her place, I might be on a very slow Sunday afternoon walk that just happened to be close to a soccer match.
