I’m probably overstating it a bit esp for ast coaches or JV/Frosh coaches as the majority of them are likely teachers first/ast coaches second.

Varsity head coaches though most definitely have a focus on sports. And the varsity football coach is almost always the Athletic Coordinator for the school with the Vasisty Volleyball or Girls Basketball coach the Ast Athletic Coordinator
