I don't believe I did for the participants. If it seemed that I did that was not
my intent. Do we have evidence that school "spirit" increases due to athletic success and that this "spirit" demonstrably helps the student body in general? We are going to spend millions on a select few kids, it better be better for the student body as a whole. I would think we would be better off expanding the number of participants so that all who want can experience the benefits of participating.

I don’t live in utah but I know various examples of this being the case. Brighton and Davis are examples.

Do you really not believe sports help with the well being of students? It does not help with mental health?
