Sports does not allow everyone to play. Dedication, talent, drive, work ethic, grit matter…I don’t think all should get a chance to play. They need to work hard and earn it. Should each team play many QB’s to be fair? That would be dumb, let a kid earn it.

Some kids don’t make a team…as it should be. My son has been a starter in several sports, he works his tail off. My daughter plays soccer and surprisingly plays a lot, but she does not work hard outside of practice at all and I would have zero issues cutting her or sitting her…that is life and a good lesson. I wish she would get benched until she puts in work.

My kids don’t do theater. They probably would be bad. They don’t deserve it unless they work. Not fair to have them get parts over kids who work hard and who have talent.

All these are life lessons. Making it fair to all os a dumb thing to teach, that is not life.
