Don’t have a dog in this but have seen it before where Dad’s are too involved.
I saw one game, so may be a single event, but their arguments seemed to have some legs in that single point of reference. They may be wrong in assertions. To be clear it wasn’t that these boys were bad it was so much was called for these kids over other kids. I don’t know, but I have seen it before on other teams.
Point being Dad’s should not be coaching their kids in varsity sports or this argument will come up. Not specific to Brighton, but all schools, this was an example (which I have no view if accurate or not outside of one game) and the arguments that come up with Dads coaching their kids in HS.
By chance are you Assistant Coach/Dad at Brighton? Seem pretty defensive. I have zero arguments with you, I can’t name one kid on the team or any guards. Ha. Just an example of parent gripes and why parents in most situations should not coach.
