The issue many people in Utah have with the admissions policies at the U and the recruitments for residents, fellows, and faculty is it comes off as being biased against BYU grads in the name of diversity and overcoming biases, and leads to native Utahns going elsewhere and not working at the UofU in the same ratio as in private practice in Utah. Not saying that is bad, but that is what is happening.
