Didn't apply to U Med School, went to Colorado. Got an interview at UofU for a competitive residency so I didn't say no. On the day of my interview, one of the attendings who was interviewing literally said to me, "Oh, you went to BYU? Wow, you might be the first BYU grad in many years that we have interviewed, congrats." I could tell I probably slipped through the cracks and was not impressed. Needless to say, I ranked them last. It's probably good for BYU students to go elsewhere anyway if they are from out-of-state. BYU's premed program is fantastic, in my experience. The top 2 students in my CU med school class were BYU grads.
