Agree 100%.. you could fill 2-4 full classes with byu kids who would be totally
Qualified and who could all be interchangeable.
We had about 20 out of the 100.. 10 the stereotypical (more nerdy) byu types, 10 byu/Mormon kids with more unique backgrounds (sports, different race)
Mostly just comes down to luck and a numbers game. If everyone was targeting another specific med school you would have similar stories and anger.
