Not likely. The cost of a medical school is astronomical. Without the funding
coming from taxpayers, the cost to the Church would be colossal. I don't see it happening unless the Church could figure out some mechanism whereby the majority of the funding did not come from tithing funds.

The other major issue is the amount of federal regulation involved in running a hospital. The Church does not like anybody telling it what to do, but you cannot run a hospital without Joint Commission accreditation. Again, there is possibly a workaround for this, but it would be very complicated and a lot of things would have to fall into place to make it work.
