My son graduated from BYU in biology, having had a scholastic scholarship throughout. He applied to numerous med schools including the U. He was accepted to a goodly number of schools, but was not given the time of day in SLC. To say he was turned off by the school would be an understatement.
He did med school at Southwestern (Texas @ Arlington), which accepts a number of BYU grads each year. He now practices at Hoops Vision as a successful opthalmologist, and is very glad things turned out the way they did.
