Sincere question: how many schools have a business guy as AD?
Seems like the model at many places is to promote a long time successful HC to AD.
Now, I guess, BYU didn't even follow that model. Holmoe was anything but successful as HC.
Having connections matters, IMO, which Holmoe certainly has. If BYU went after a business guy, he should have connections in the sports sector.
