Well, he was BYU's #1 target for a reason. Not only that, he was the HC at
the arch rival school. There's no way to know, but it's very possible Utah isn't even in the P12 had BYU hired KW away from them. KW led Utah to a second BCS bowl win, has kicked BYU's butt for a decade, and now supposed to go to the Rose or Playoff. HC's in CFB are important. Things would certainly be different. BYU didn't pony up and the rest is history.
