Ken said absolutely not, thanks for helping me get a raise at Navy, and turned it down. Kalani really wanted the HC job and was willing to take on Detmer despite wanting to hire his own OC (and it's VERY clear from how Kalani acted towards Detmer that he did not choose Detmer, but rather Detmer was chosen for him). Ken already had a very comfortable HC job, didn't need the hassle, despite wanting the job.

I'm personally thrilled he didn't hire Ken N. Kyle's 4-3 is not set up to deal with the option very well. I think we'd be 5-3 against you the past 8 if you were running the option, maybe 4-4.
