Absolute implosion of BYU sports the last few yrs under Holmoe is unforgivable
BYU Football
- Utah State: Lost the last 2 consecutive games against Utah State (2018, 2019). The last time that happened was 1973 and 1974. We've also lost 3 of the last five against them (2014, 2017, 2018). That's as many L's as we took against the dairy utes in the previous 20+ years 1982 - 2013.
- Utah: Last win was 10 years ago. Last road win was 14 years ago (Harline), and our record is 3 - 10 vs Utah under Holmoe.
- 2017: 9 loss season, the last time BYU lost 9 games in a season was 62 years ago (1955)
- Last AP Top 25 Finish: 10 years ago (2009). 9 straight seasons finishing unranked. Since BYU's first top 25 finish (1974), the longest stretch without finishing ranked is tied for 4 years-- we've more than doubled that
BYU Basketball
- 2015 - 2016: 47 Wins Vacated
- Last NCAA Tournament appearance: 4 years ago (2014, *First Four*), longest stretch since 2000.
- Last Conference championship: 8 years ago. Longest stretch since 1994 - 2001.
- Last Outright conference championship: 11 years ago.
- WCC Champsionships: 0
- Last 2nd place conference championship: 4 years ago
- Last NCAA Tournament win: 7 years ago, (2012 *First Four*) vs Iona
I don't think I'm a bad fan-- I live out-of-state, I own season tickets, I'm flying to Tennessee this season to support the cougs. But sometimes when they call me and ask me to donate money to cougar club, I'm tempted to ask for a refund instead of give a donation.
